Eighteenth Street is considered the largest gang in California, and a strong Latino criminal armed gang. It is estimated that there are thousands of members in Los Angeles alone. Its criminal activities and elevated status has even caught the attention of the FBI and Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which has recently started large scale attacks against known and suspected gang members that has garnered hundreds of arrests across the country.
