Adapted from the medieval Irish text Aided Oenfer Aoife (The death of Aoife's only son). In this film the mighty Queen Aoife takes revenge on the hero Cu Chulainn by tricking him into slaying his only son. This lamentable story is derived from the medieval Irish text Aided Oenfer Aoife.
