Feudal Lord Galindo de Oroel must fight a duel with a neighboring nobleman to settle a longstanding dispute. Diaco, Don Galindo's loyal squire, receives what he interprets to be a sign from God ensuring a favorable outcome to the duel. However when the duel commences Galindo's pregnant wife Auria prays for divine intervention to ensure her child will survive.
